Below are some common questions and basic answers. For more details,
please read the Reseller Program Policies.
Q. What are the benefits of becoming a Irie Tones Music Reseller?
A. Irie Tones Music Resellers get all of the following benefits:
- Immediate A-grade pricing
- Extended price break discounts
- Blind drop shipping
- Streamlined ordering interface
- Expanded return policy
- Credit account
Q. How do I qualify for the immediate A-grade pricing?
A. To help you get started as an Irie Tones Reseller, upon registering
you will immediately qualify for the 10+ price for 90 days, regardless
of the quantity of items purchased. This discount will apply for
90 days, after which your discount levels will be determined by
the extended price break discount policy.
Q. What are extended price break discounts?
A. Irie Tones wants to reward you for ordering more items consistently.
We track your purchases using a rolling 90-day history, which is
used to determine your level of discount. For example, if you purchased
11 drums/didjeridus in the previous 90-day period you will receive
the 10+ price on your new order, even if you order less than 10
items. If your new order is at 9+ drums or didjeridus you will receive
those items for the 20+ price.
Q. What are blind drop shipments?
A. We will ship to your customers for you using your business name
and address. Your customers will never know who we are. By having
us drop ship for you, you won't need to keep an inventory of all
of your items. Drop shipments cost $1 each.
Q. How do I get account credit?
A. Some of our resellers will be able to purchase on credit provided
that they do regular business with us and have reputable references.
This allows them to make purchases and then be billed at a later
date. If you would like to have account credit then click the CREDIT
link on the navigation bar.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Irie Tones Music Reseller Program is for online stores, retail
stores, schools, percussion teachers, youth groups, non-profits,
and individuals who want to order our equipment at low prices and
resell these items to others or secure the lowest prices for the
end-users.
The program is simple:
1. Create an account - When you create a reseller
account Irie Tones Music will gather your information and contact
details, and you will specify which kind of reseller account you
want. You will then be sent an email with a link that you must click
to activate your account. Once your account is activated you can
start placing orders through our simplified order form.
2. Order products - You will have access to a more streamlined
ordering interface where you can add multiple items to your cart
at one time. Beginning with your first order you will be able to
take advantage of your immediate 10+ price break savings. As you
order items you will build up your account history, qualifying you
for extended price breaks. You can also drop ship to your customers
from our warehouse and your customers will think you shipped to
them directly.
3. Return policy – Most Irie Tones products are under
warranty for 90 days after purchase by the final consumer. This
means if you have Irie Tones inventory it is guaranteed against
defect as long as you have it. If your customers want to exchange
their item(s) because of color or size preference, we encourage
you to work with them directly. However, if their item(s) are damaged
due to manufacturing defects, Irie Tones is happy to work with your
customers directly to fulfill our warranty obligation to them.
4. Account credit - You can submit a request for account
credit as long as your payment and account histories are good. We
will review your account and adjust your account credit accordingly.
This will help you if you do a lot of small orders and want to be
billed once a month.

Here you will find instructions on how to do common reseller activities.
ORDER
You will need to place your order via the reseller order interface,
or via fax.
ONLINE ORDER INTERFACE
- Your reseller order page will have some fields already filled
in according to the information you gave us during registration.
- First, choose the appropriate shipping method. Email us if
your country is not on the list.
- Second, fill in the 'SHIP TO' and 'SHIP FROM' addresses and
preferences. The 'SHIP TO' is the address to where these items
will be shipped. If they are for a customer, choose BLIND SHIPMENT
and put in your customer's address. If the items are for your
store or program, chose YOUR ADDRESS. For the 'SHIP FROM' use
your address if it is a blind shipment, or if it is going to your
store, then IRIE TONES MUSIC will be the sending address.
- Third, input the quantity of all of the items that you want.
The price will change dynamically to reflect the quantity price
break when you update the page. You may want to have nearby our
latest printed PRICE LIST. You can click on the item name to check
availability and price breaks.
- Fourth, click UPDATE to see how the items entered affect your
total order as well as how shipping is updated.
- Fourth, make sure your shipping charges, discount, and total
all look accurate.
- Fifth, add any additional comments that will help us with your
order.
- Sixth, click CONTINUE to move to the order confirmation page.

RESELLER PROGRAM POLICIES

The Irie Tones Music Reseller Program is governed by all of the
regular Irie Tones Music Policies and the following additions/modifications:
AGE
Reseller members must be at least 18 years or older. No exceptions.
PRIVACY
The regular Irie Tones Music Privacy
Policy applies to your Reseller information. We will not share
your information with anyone.
YOUR ACCOUNT
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
of your account and password and for restricting access to your
computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities
that occur under your account or password. You must keep your account
details and settings current at all times.
CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
You may close your account at any time for any reason. Irie Tones
Music may close your account at any time for any reason. If your
account is closed (by your request or ours), you will still be responsible
for any outstanding financial obligations to Irie Tones.
USING IRIE TONES MUSIC CONTENT
As a Irie Tones Music Reseller you are granted a limited license
to use our product images, prices, and product descriptions. You
will receive this written permission via email. You are not, however,
permitted to use the Irie Tones Music or irietones.com names. The
permitted graphics are on the product pages. You are only permitted
to use the above mentioned licenses as long as the following conditions
are met: your do not manipulate the graphics other than resizing
or cropping them; you do not represent that you are Irie Tones Music
or a Irie Tones Music website; you do not sell the images or graphics;
you do not resell or sub-license the images or graphics. Any unauthorized
use terminates the permission or license granted by Irie Tones.
Irie Tones Music reserves the right to end this limited license
at any time and for any reason.
DISCOUNTS AND MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
All Irie Tones Music Resellers can enjoy the benefits of our drop
shipping service, return policy, smooth interface, and more. However,
the real benefit of becoming a reseller is to get discounts beyond
our already low prices. All discounts are on product price only
and do not apply to taxes or shipping. There are two types of discounts:
Immediate Start-Up Discounts – After you confirm
your registration you will be able to take advantage of immediate
savings for 90 days. No matter the quantity purchased you will receive
all products for at least the 10+ price. This means you are purchasing
at A-grade pricing just for registering! After the initial 90-day
discount period your discount level will follow our Extended Price
Break Discounts program.
Extended Price Break Discounts – We want
to reward our customers who purchase large quantities from us consistently.
We keep track of a ROLLING ACCOUNT HISTORY that remembers your last
90 days of account activity. Your level of discount is calculated
based on your 90-day rolling account history. If, within the last
90 days your cumulative purchases of any drums/didjeridus is X quantity,
you will receive all items in your current order for at least the
X quantity price break. This allows you to potentially receive high-quantity
price breaks when ordering items in small quantities, which saves
you from having to store inventory or over-crowd your showroom floor
in order to get wholesale price breaks. If you find this confusing,
please read the example below:
Example 1:
On 15 May 2004 you register as an Irie Tones reseller. That same
day you make your first purchase of 2 drums, 2 didjeridus, 3 shekeres,
and 1 bag, to which was applied your initial discount of the 10+
price (even though only 4 drums/didjeridus was purchased). Your
90-day rolling account history now shows 4 drums/didjeridus. On
1 July 2004 you purchase 3 more drums, 2 cascas, and 2 DVDs. You
get these items for the 10+ price because a) your initial 90-day
discount still applies, and b) your account history in addition
to the current order only comes to 7 drums/didjeridus. On 15 August
2004 you purchase 5 drums, 2 didjeridus, and 3 bags. Your account
history of 7 drums/didjeridus plus the 7 drums/didjeridus from the
current order put you in the 10+ price break category for this order.
On 2 October 2004 you want to purchase 2 drums. In your 90-day history
you have 7 drums/didjeridus. You decide to add a drum to your order,
for a total of 3 drums, in order to qualify for the 10+ price break
discount.
Discounts for Schools – In order to encourage
our schools to expand their multi-cultural, music, and dance programs
we offer our reseller discounts to schools as well, even if they
don’t plan on reselling the products.
YOUR 90-DAY ROLLING ACCOUNT HISTORY
Your 90-day rolling account history is calculated on all of your
orders placed through the reseller ordering interface, or your faxed
orders. Total product purchase prices are calculated before any
discounts and based on the appropriate quantity price break. You
will always have access to see your account history. You will also
be aware of when your current discount level will expire.
DROP SHIPMENTS
When you place an order with the Reseller Order Interface, you will
be given the option of having us blind drop ship for you to one
of your customers. This gives you the advantage of not stocking
all products while keeping your relationship with us hidden from
your customer. You will need to indicate that it is a drop shipment
on your order and then provide us the address to which the shipment
will be made. We will then use your business return address on file
as the ship from address. Your customer cannot identify who we are.
We are committed to keeping our drop shipments private - our reputation
with our other resellers is on the line! We will not violate your
relationship with your customers.
SALES TAX
Irie Tones Music will charge sales tax on all applicable purchases
made by resellers who are in Utah or have us drop ship to Utah UNLESS
you fax in a resale certificate or certificate or exemption. Please
fax these forms to: (786) 524-2351.
RESELLER RETURN POLICY
All items are under warranty
for 90 days from the time they are sold to the final consumer. This
means they are guaranteed against manufacturing defect the entire
time you have them. Damages due to abuse, neglect, or misuse are
not covered. You will be credited or reimbursed for return freight
costs if the damaged merchandise warrants a legitimate replacement.
REQUESTING ACCOUNT CREDIT
Some resellers may be interested in having a line of credit with
Irie Tones. A line of credit allows you to make more purchases and
also consolidate your invoices to be billed monthly. To request
credit you must fill out the Reseller Credit Application found on
the CREDIT page. To be approved you must have a respectable account
history and solid references. If approved, your credit limit will
be decided by Irie Tones. After you have been approved you can select
ACCOUNT CREDIT LINE as your payment method when you place an order.
All terms are Net30. After 60 days we will start to collect interest
in the amount of 2% monthly (24% a.p.r.) on outstanding balances.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
All of our regular warranty
policy applies to products that we sell to you and drop ship
to your customers.
PROGRAM AGREEMENT
Irie Tones Music does not enter into any legally binding agreement
with any person or organization enrolled in the Irie Tones Music
Reseller Program. The Irie Tones Music Reseller Program is a good-faith
program. We appreciate your patronage and want to reward you for
it. However, it is in our best interest to be 100% honest in this
program as we want your business and your trust. Any disputes you
may have with our Reseller Program will be handled internally.
