• Tough cordura exterior that offers water resistance and protection from humidity and temperature changes
• Stitched like mad, everywhere. Joints and seams under greatest stress are reinforced with PVC board
• Cushy permanent backpack straps, fully adjustable with contoured comfort fit
• Backpack straps are extra wide to help stabalize the djembe and prevent swinging as you walk

Production Note: Many months were spent trying to get a professional bag made in Africa. Despite the combined best efforts of Africa Heartwood Project and bag makers in Africa, the quality required couldn't be achieved. U.S. based bag manufacturers were priced so high that all confidence was lost in being able to make the bags available at an affordable price. In the end a reputable company in Asia was selected, one that follows ethical employment practices, including no child labor, and who is able to consistently build a top-rate djembe case to protect your drum. Although we would rather see the original value-added go to Africa, we're pleased that a significant portion of the proceeds from this bag are re-invested in African-built djembes and other drums, through Africa Heartwood Project.
