The same goat skins used on our Classical Djembes are now available for individual sale. If you are reheading a djembe or goat-skin ashiko or bougarabou these skins work great. The Ghana goat skins are not as thick as skins from other West African countries, which gives the drum a crisper, higher sound. Each goat skin is covered by our warantee, and features:

• Available in 1 size, large enough to rehead a djembe up to 16" playable surface diameter
• Available with hair left intact or wet shaved with hair removed
• Skin not treated with any bleaches or chalks, making a healthier more durable skin
• Always includes full skin with the spine in the center, not belly or side skin
• Skin may come to you full or cut into rounds, depending on what is available
