Below are some common questions and basic answers. For more details,

Q. Who can become an affiliate of Irie Tones Music?
A. We welcome websites, music stores, drum teachers, schools,
clubs, or individuals who are in a position to refer targeted
customers to Irie Tones Music, either through website links or
direct referrals.
Q. What are the benefits of becoming an Irie Tones Affiliate?
A. Irie Tones affiliates receive store credit or cash for sales
made through their referrals. Affiliates have access to tools
to help them accomplish this, helping them raise money or earn
Irie Tones merchandise.
Q. How do you keep track of my IriePoints?
A. Irie Tones tracks purchases made by visitors who enter through
your link or who reference your Affiliate Code when making their
purchase, and then tracks the amount they spend on merchandise.
Q. How do you calculate my IriePoints?
A. You (or your organization) are rewarded one IriePoint for
every dollar spent on merchandise (not shipping or tax).
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Irie Tones Music Affiliate Program is for websites, music stores,
drum teachers, schools, clubs, or individuals who want to make money
or earn credit by linking to our website or referring targeted customers!
The program is simple:
1. Create an account - When you create an affiliate
account, Irie Tones Music will gather your information and then
email you your unique Irie Tones Affiliate Code. You will then activate
your account by clicking a link. Once your account is activated
you can then a) create the necessary links and banners to start
linking to the irietones.com website, and/or b) refer customers
to Irie Tones (866-DJEMBES) or irietones.com using your unique Affiliate
Code and your Irie Tones Affiliate Cards.
2. Generate links and banners - Once your account
is activated you will go to the banners page where you will choose
graphics and/or links that you want to put on your site. Then, by
modifying the HTML code in those links with your account code you
will create the affiliate links that will help others find our site.
3. Insert the links and banners into your website - After
creating your links and banners you will then need to place those
links and banners in your own website. You will need to know some
HTML in order to do this (though you probably already do in order
to have a website).
4. Directly refer customers to Irie Tones – As
soon as you have an Irie Tones Affiliate Code you can begin referring
potential customers to us and building up your IriePoints. You have
the option of ordering Irie Tones Affiliate business cards if you
are in a position to make face-to-face or mail-order referrals.

receive at least a 5% discount on their order by using your Affiliate
Code.
5. Receive multiple IriePoints for every item purchased
by your referrals - Each time somebody visits our site
and buys something because you linked to us, or references your
Affiliate Code when making a purchase, you will receive one IriePoint
for every dollar spent (on merchandise only - shipping and tax are
excluded). Your IriePoints will be tracked, which you can monitor
at any time.
6. Redeem your credits for Irie Tones products or cash
- You may redeem your IriePoints for cash or credit. IriePoints
are worth the following:
$1 in irietones.com store credit for every 15 IriePoints earned
$1 in cash for every 20 IriePoints earned
You can redeem these points at any time by logging in and clicking
the REDEEM link.
AFFILIATE POLICIES

The Irie Tones Music Affiliate Program is governed by all of the
regular Irie Tones Music Policies and the following additions/modifications:
AGE
Affiliate members must be at least 18 years or older. If you are
younger than 18 years of age, you might consider having a parent
or friend setup an account.
PRIVACY
The regular Irie Tones Music Privacy
Policy applies to your Affiliate information. We will not share
your information with anyone.
YOUR ACCOUNT
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
of your account and password and for restricting access to your
computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities
that occur under your account or password. You must keep your account
details and settings current at all times.
CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
You may close your account at any time for any reason. Irie Tones
Music may close your account at any time for any reason; however,
Irie Tones Music will not delete your account Points unless you
have committed fraud or have maligned Irie Tones.
USING IRIE TONES MUSIC CONTENT
As an Irie Tones Music Affiliate you are granted a limited license
to use our product images, prices, and product descriptions. You
will receive this written permission via email. You will also be
granted a limited license to use the Irie Tones Music name, the
irietones.com name, and permitted graphics on your site. The permitted
graphics are found on the Banners page of the affiliate center.
You are only permitted to use the above mentioned licenses as long
as the following conditions are met: your links/graphics are not
defamatory or negative; you do not represent that you are an Irie
Tones Music website or any other drum store; you do not sell the
links or graphics; you do not resell or sub-license the link or
graphics. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license
granted by Irie Tones. Irie Tones Music reserves the right to end
this limited license at any time and for any reason.
EARNING IRIEPOINTS
You will earn one IriePoint for every dollar, rounded to the nearest
whole dollar in US dollars, spent on merchandise by your links or
referrals. You will not earn IriePoints on shipping costs or taxes.
You will only get credit for purchases made by customers who linked
directly from the ad/banner/link on your site or who manually keyed
in your Irie Tones Affiliate Code when making their purchase. You
will not get credit for purchases made by customers who return to
the site without entering through your link, except if they manually
reference your Affiliate Code (their incentive to use your Code
is a discount on their purchase). You will not get credit when you
make a purchase going through your own affiliate link or by referencing
your own Affiliate Code. You will receive credit on purchases regardless
of the buyer's payment method. You will be debited IriePoints for
orders that are cancelled or do not go through.
REDEEMING YOUR IRIEPOINTS
Your IriePoints will be electronically tallied and maintained on
our servers. You will have access to see your accumulated IriePoints
by logging on to your account. Irie Tones Music will award you the
following rewards for your IriePoints:
$1 in irietones.com store credit for every 15 IriePoints earned
$1 in cash for every 20 IriePoints earned
You can redeem your IriePoints for store credit at any time by logging
in and submitting a redemption request. Credit will be applied to
your next order, available immediately. Cash will be sent by check
via US Mail to your account address made payable to the contact
person on the account. Your account will then be debited the amount
of the request. Irie Tones Music is not responsible for fraud. Please
guard your account information carefully and make sure your account
contact information is accurate.
PROGRAM AGREEMENT
Irie Tones Music does not enter into any legally binding agreement
with any person or organization enrolled in the Irie Tones Music
Affiliate Program. The Irie Tones Music Affiliate Program is a good-faith
program. We appreciate your patronage and want to reward you for
it. However, Irie Tones Music does not legally need to track your
IriePoints or reward you for any links you create or any customers
you introduce to our website. However, it is in our best interest
to be 100% honest in this program as we want your business and your
trust. Any disputes you may have with our Affiliate Program will
be handled internally.
